Yuliia Humeniuk is a Ukrainian accordionist with a distinctive international profile, performing across Europe, Asia, and the UK. She began playing the accordion at the age of seven, graduated with distinction from Kharkiv National University of Arts, and completed her Master’s degree at the Royal Academy of Music, London, in 2026. A compelling advocate for the accordion as a contemporary and expressive concert instrument, she works across solo, chamber, orchestral, and interdisciplinary formats. She has presented solo recitals in London (2022, 2024) and appeared as a soloist with orchestra in Opale by Richard Galliano. Her work includes UK premieres at the Royal Academy of Music and the Royal College of Music, reflecting a strong engagement with new repertoire. Since 2022, she has performed at leading UK venues and festivals including the Royal Albert Hall (BBC Proms Youth Prom), Opera Holland Park, the Grimeborn Festival, the Deal Festival, and Shakespeare’s Globe, establishing herself as a versatile and distinctive voice on the international stage.
