Shapeshifters: Playing It Forwards brings together seven award-winning artists working across painting, sculpture and printmaking. Each artist has taken a different path towards a life in art. What connects them is not a shared style, but a shared decision to embrace change and create something new. The exhibition explores how we are shaped by the people, places, experiences and ideas that come before us — and how those influences can be questioned, reworked and transformed through creative practice.
