Concert 1 of the Jonathan Powell Memorial Concerts, held at the JdP Music Building, St Hilda’s College. This afternoon concert remembers the pianist and composer Jonathan Powell, a featured artist at the JdP for fifteen years and a musician acclaimed for his performances of contemporary music, British composers, Finnissy, Xenakis, Sorabji and much neglected 19th and 20th century repertoire.
